There are several wonderful mountains to explore on the islands in Karlsøy Municipality. Ringvassalpene is part of our tourist resort, and the tours in this alpine landscape start from the resort. A professional ski guide will ensure that your trip is both adventurous and safe. February – May
Mountain lake Ice fishing
Join us for ice fishing. Ringvassøya has more than 500 lakes. In the period February – April we offer trips to the best fishing lakes with the finest fish. The tour includes a professional guide, snowshoes, fishing equipment, hot drinks and snacks. Minimum 4 persons.

Boat tour in winter
In the winter, we offer boat tourswith a guide. The tour includes a flotation suit, fishing equipment, hot drinks and snacks.
Duration 4-5 hours. Max 7 people.

Requirements: This vessel requires knowledge and experience with larger seagoing vessels.
In addition, we offer:
- Rental of fishing equipment and flotation suits.
- Sale of jigs
- Gutting bucket for cleaning and preparation of the day’s catch
- Freezer, 200 l, available in each boathouse.
Evening tour with Northern light watching
It is possible to rent our barbecue hut, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from Hav og Fjell. You can sit inside and enjoy yourself around the fire while you wait for the Northern Lights.

Hiking in the mountains
The area around our camp is an excellent starting point for hiking. There are both easy and more demanding areas to explore. The entire Ringvassøya island and the islands in Karlsøy Municipality all have fantastic recreational and hiking areas in the mountains.
